June 12: We are anticipating a June 22nd opening date, dependent on the arrival of supplies and signage. We will be starting a new post with all our reopening policies and orientation videos on Monday.
June 11: Another new procedure for our facility is that entry to the facility will be limited to appointments only. You must use our member platform to book your workout space during the hourly slots.
June 10: In preparation of reopening the facility, we will sharing some of the new procedures that will be introduced to the facility. Below is our pandemic code of conduct that all members must follow in order to us the facility.
June 9: We are super excited to hear the announcement from the Alberta Government about Phase 2 relaunch. Stay tuned for details about our intended re-opening date once we ensure all safety measures are thoroughly in place.
June 1: We are very hopeful that the opening of fitness centres gets moved up into Phase 2 of the Alberta Government re-opening plan that is due to start in the month of June. Fingers crossed!
May 25: Join us on June 3 from 1-2 pm or June 4 from 10-11 am for an online health fair.

April 23: We’ve paired up with some of our other Liv North Facilities to create a diversified class schedule for you. We’ll be moving to Zoom to accommodate the change.
April 22: On Earth Day, we want to remind you to take sometime today to turn off the technology and reconnect with the real world. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the world around you and forget about what’s happening on the news. Your mental health depends on these types of respites.

April 20: It’s week 4 of our Re-connection Challenge and we are assigning you to take some time to listen to your body either through meditation or yoga. Check out Move 123, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Our Home Workout Blog, or the Member Portal for resources.
April 17: Our bikes have been checked and sanitized for your use when we return. We’re still complying with public health regulations, but that’s not stopping us from planning!
April 16: We are in talks with our partner Apple Fitness to get discounted small equipment packages for our members and CF employees. If you would be interested in a small equipment package including resistance bands and roller and a set of dumbbells, let us know!
April 15: We are halfway through the month and you should be at least halfway through the 20-in-30 Fitness Challenge. Check out our live class library, our home workouts, our member portal, or simply email us if you need ideas.

April 13: Looking for someone to reach out to for the Week 3 challenge? Our Fitness Manager is on Skype all workday long. Why not set up a time to chat? It doesn’t have to be fitness related, she is happy to be another source of contact during this isolating time of life.

March 31: It took some time but our yoga blocks have all been disinfected. We hope to host you soon in our yoga classes with our fresh and clean equipment.

March 25: We want to take this time to recognize the hard work of the Cadillac Fairview Operations Staff, GDI Cleaning Staff and Building Security & Life Safety Staff during this time of crisis. They are going above and beyond to maintain the building to it’s high standards as well as making sure we are compliant with Health Canada’s Guidelines.
March 24: Our first live class went off without a hitch yesterday and we are excited to continue our live classes on Instagram. The studio weights look so shiny now they’ve been cleaned and sorted.
March 23: All soft/absorbent pieces of small equipment have been disinfected on the fitness floor. We are slowly making our way through the equipment in the studios. Yay cleaning!
