Exercise of the Month: Hamstring Curls on a Swiss Ball


This challenging and underrated exercise is very good at engaging your entire back side of your body. It focuses on strengthening the hamstrings, glutes, lower/mid back to help create balance in your usually front strong body. This exercise can help to reduce or eliminate back pain if done properly and it helps to strengthen your core by bringing balance work into the mix. Happy Holidays!

Just a few reminders as we move into the holidays: The facility will be unstaffed from December 24th to January 2nd. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the facility please email brasmussen-thorson@livnorth.com. There will be no classes between December 23rd and January 2nd. These pop-up classes will be included with a member’s unlimited class pass or they may purchase a drop in class pass to attend. Pop-up classes will happen once every 2-4 weeks! Back to Regular Hours


Proof of Vaccination No Longer Required We are pleased to announce that starting February 14th, Calgary City Centre Fitness will be returning to regular hours and proof of vaccination will no longer be required to be shown, following the provincial government lifting of restrictions. Access cards are reactivated to reflect these changes. Elf in the Fitness Centre
