This versatile exercise can be done as a stretch, a restorative pose, or it can be used as a transition to more difficult exercises. Downward Dog is in honor of Stress Awareness Month. Exercise of the Month: Hamstring Curls on a Swiss Ball


This challenging and underrated exercise is very good at engaging your entire back side of your body. It focuses on strengthening the hamstrings, glutes, lower/mid back to help create balance in your usually front strong body. This exercise can help to reduce or eliminate back pain if done properly and it helps to strengthen your core by bringing balance work into the mix.
